Many local libraries have a monthly book club. If you want to start one on ine then yes go to yahoo groups or some other groups site, and start a monthly book club. To get good books to read, try your local library, or Google book club picks. I tired it and found an awesome site it is http://www.readinggroupguides.com. It give advice on how to set up a book club or reading group, on the books to pick, and what to talk about. I’m sure there are lots of sites like these.
