post Category: Book Club Offers — And Offers @ 2:54 pm — post Comments (4)

I’ve been hearing all kinds of good things about the book "A New Earth" and I think it would be a lot of fun (not to mention interesting) to get a few people together to read it together and discuss it. I’m just not sure where I should start as far as putting together a group of people for it. Any ideas?

well me n my friends started a book club we started together as friends but slowly after we read a book that book became popular cause they seen me n my friends have it i guess they thought since a lot of other ppl had that book it was cool so after we seen ppl like that we slowly started askin ppl to join

Horaayy..there are 4 comment(s) for me so far ;)

"A New Earth" is over the top for starting a book club (I’ve found it hard to stay awake while reading it). I’d start with "The Power of Now" first and then move on to "A New Earth". I think if you go to Oprah.com there are tips for forming book clubs, etc. Good luck!

first probably find people who would be willing to read this book and who you wouldnt mind discussing. Next find a meeting place and then get the books.

Instead of asking this question why don’t you ask a new one.

"I want to begin reading "A New Earth" and I’m looking for people who would like to read and discuss it with me online If you are interested please reply to this message with an e-mail addy where I can contact you."

Yahoo groups has an easy way to start your own group once you get a list of people to join you.
