I want to start a book club at Barnes and Noble, but I am not sure how to approach them. Would they let me do something like that, once a month meet for an hour with cookies and a book discussion. It would be for teenagers. Would they let me hang up flyers? How do I ask? PLEASE HELP! All answers are greatly appreciated! Thank you SO much and God bless you all!

The best thing to do is to go to your local B&N and ask for the manager. Make your proposal.

Your proposal might be boosted if you could say you already had N students interested in attending.

At least our local B&N – they are very nice and supportive of the homeschool community. I even got a teacher discount card as a homeschool teacher.

The worst that will happen is they will politely say no. But, I bet they will say yes. It is good for their business.

Horaayy..there are 3 comment(s) for me so far ;)

Just straight up ask the floor manager. They’d then in turn ask the owner of that branch and the owner may want to talk to you about it. Don’t be afraid to approach them :)

It sounds like a nice idea. Ask the store manager.
