Does your heart start racing really fast, feeling like it’ll fly out of your chest? I hate it so much. Surprisingly, when I begin talking, I calm down, it’s just the before part that gets to me.
yes! it makes me stutter over some words and my heart race really fast.

Completely! It makes me muddle up my words sometimes
I’m getting better though – which is a good job because I’m aiming to get on the debating team this year. It’s my goal to get better at it! I remember we had a mock debate in geography last year and I had to stand up in front of the entire school (because my teacher likes making us all suffer!) and speak. God, I was shaking so much. I get lightheaded for ages before and after having to speak in public. I feel your pain!

I don’t mind it say if we’re reading a book or a textbook or something in class and I get asked to read a bit I don’t mind then. If we have to do a solo talk then I hate it I think cos I have time to panic and it’s about me lol and you have to stand at the front, it’s just a bit embarrasing, but it’s ok after like 2 minutes then it’s over

Not really. I actually kind of like reading in front of groups. Of course, it’s slower than reading to myself, but… whatever.
It’s the thought of having to write something that someone else will read that makes me wanna throw up.
I used to be horrified at the thought of having to be seen doing/saying anything in front of more than one person, but somehow I’m not really anymore. I’ve never really had experience talking or being around people either, but… idk… Maybe it was that one horrible event that drove me to not minding so much talking in front of people… It Tae Kwon Do, (which I’ve dropped out of) I once had to lead part of the class because my instructor hadn’t been there and I was one of the higher ranks there..

Yes! I hate it when that happens, so I just avoid reading in front of other people. I’m actually not a bad reader, so I don’t understand why it makes me nervous. But yes, I totally understand.

Yes, and then three things may happen. I don’t talk loud enough, I talk too fast, or I say "um" too much.
