The retail price (if you can find it) is $1200 USD a bottle. I’m sure it’s good, but no way is it worth $1200 a bottle. You can’t drink the bottle.

$500 per shot of 3 week old tequila…. that is outragous. i would rather pay $300 for a WHOLE bottle of jonny walker blue label scotch whisky, at least its aged 12 years and its silky smooth and a drink to appericiate. and i could have maybe 30 or 40 shots from that bottle for $300, compared to $500 for one shot of 3 week old tequila that would taste like moonshine….. i know how i would rather spend my money. anyone that buys a shot of this tequila is a idiot, a fool, or has too much money.

I have never tried the Clase Azul ULTRA. I have only tried their blanco and Repo. Its one of my favorite tequila families. But 500 $ for a shot, is kinda dumb. Unless you got stupid money. I could tell you this, it wont be better than Cava De Oro Extra Anejo.

That is not America’s most expensive drink. First off if you know anything about alcohol, you will know that this shot is simply overpriced. The bottle retails for under $2,000. Hennessy Richard, a shot I once had, is nearly the same price (its price increases every year). How much is a shot of it? I bought one around 2 years ago for around $250. Just because a bar overprices a shot doesn’t make the drink the most expensive in America.
