in korea thai food … in korea thai food is not popular !…
im in sydney, sooooo many thai restaurants here and they are so popular here..anywwyz, im korean and i miss korea. thanks for all your guys`s video, so cool !
Good to hear advice … Good to hear advice from a real chef! It was so awful! But, they’ve closed down now so I guess it wasn’t just us that didn’t enjoy it!
lol, the food … lol, the food doesn’t look so appetizing.
i myself is a thai chef and those pad se-ew and pad thai looked utterly tasteless.
And yes your right about giving lime when serving pad-thai. the lime gives it a citrus aroma to the noodles. Generally pad-thai is like a sweet, sour with a hint of salty taste to it.
Actually, we didn’t … Actually, we didn’t say Thai food sucks. We love Thai food. We said THIS restaurant doesn’t know how to make Thai food, probably since the cooks and owners weren’t from Thailand, so their food sucks.
But it really doesn’t matter anymore because this restaurant is now closed down.
just because YOU … just because YOU dont like it doesnt mean others wont like it….
and u know u dont even know how real thai food tastes like so u cant say that thai food sucks
so you know dont make others dont want to eat thai food just because u said it sucks.
So, I’ve watched 33 … So, I’ve watched 33 of your most recent vids now & just have to say you hair looks really cute all the time & doubly so in this one.
I’ve had a little bit of interest in visiting Korea in the past, and after watching your vids I have to say I have more interest now
I know! I was … I know! I was totally crushed! You know when you really really have an urge for a certain food? That was me that day, and I was do disappointed. BUT I will say, many people in Korea have given us advice regarding better Thai food restaurants so we’ll have to visit them.
hahaha yep this is … hahaha yep this is surely a bright explanation lol
(and i think i was expecting it from you^^)
but somehow your reply makes me really wanna go there myself to see…
i mean…comeon..what kind of thai food is that..lol
We’re comparing it … We’re comparing it to the experiences we have had with Thai restaurants in Toronto (Canada).
For example, you can’t call it curry without curry powder, and you can’t call it dukboggi without red pepper paste. In this case, this food was lacking typical Thai spices: lime, cilantro, and chillies.
Considering Korea is closer to Thailand than Canada is, I was disappointed not to have these flavours in my dish.
I hope this helps explain our train of thought! ^^*
i just wonder…are … i just wonder…are you guys comparing this restaurant with a thai restaurant in Thailand or a thai restaurant in Canada?
cuz im pretty sure that those exotic resturants in you country must have been localized as well…ah, yes, this review is supposed to be for westerners. then what authenticity are you talking about? you mean, the authenticity of thai food in north america? well, i like your vids so much, i just found it’s kind a funny you guys talking about THAI food’s authenticity.
hey guys when u go … hey guys when u go to hyundai baekajum ummm on the top level do NOT i repeat DO NOT go to restaurants that dont have a lot of people in it lol go to the ones that have bookings and people waiting outside since those are ones people like (they dont lie *logic!*) just a tip… when u see a lot of ppl ur likely in a good place
That pad thai does … That pad thai does NOT look like the pad thai I know. The pad thai I love (in Toronto, of course!) looks and tastes a lot better than that.
So after I get … So after I get around to the #1 on my top ten list of places to see, when I go to my #2 place of Bucheon, I will definitely NOT being going to the Sala Thai Restaurant. So was it just plain bad, or just bad for Thai food? Simon’s dish looked kind of weird but Martina’s looked decent…
hey simonandmartina … hey simonandmartina, growing up and raised in Incheon, if you ever have a chance to visit there, try Songdo Galbi at Songdo in Incheon.
the restaurant has been there for over 20 years at the same location on hillside looking down nice view of Songdo. It’s quite fancy korean bbq restaurant so it might be pricey but if you order their galbi bbq it will come with about 20 side dishes and the taste of galbi and cold noodle is divine
This was actually … This was actually filmed a while ago, when the exchange rate was roughly the same. We just completely forgot about this video (along with the stockpile of other videos we made). Now the exchange rate is off, and I forgot to append a note to that part.
Horaayy..there are 25 comment(s) for me so far ;)

How can the price …
How can the price be the exact exchange?
The most expensive …
The most expensive phethai noodle I ever heard. Those noodles are very cheap food in Thailand.
