I just ate at On the Border in Sinchon (one station over from Hongdae) last night. That place seems to be the answer. The food is exactly the same as the chain is in the US.

I think it be nice …
I think it be nice to inform the restaurant operators about the need to improve their flavours. Unless someone tells them, they may never find out that their burritos are not upto the tastebuds of Canadians; give them chance to improve!

This is very funny …
This is very funny to me. On the west coast of America, where I come from, is a Mexican/Korean fusion food movement. Korean BBQ in a taco with a mixture of Mexican and Korean style toppings. Yum!

and Taco Bell is …
and Taco Bell is DEFINITELY not mexican food. It’s food of Texas food. Commonly known as Tex-Mex food. Mexicans don’t eat those forms of food. Burrito’s were invented in Texas, not Mexico.

that’s because they …
that’s because they use their own foods within their country. each ingredient tastes so much different in mexico. can’t use korean spices, it won’t taste the same, it’ll just look the same. their tortilla tastes different in korea than it does in mexico. Duh!
