post Category: Entertainment Book Offers — And Offers @ 10:51 pm — post Comments (4)

Each state has their own Entertainment Book, you know, the books with special values and offers?

Each year I buy 2 to make a donation, and end up using 1 or 2 of the offers. *sigh* Again this year….

I don’t even bother anymore.
Most of the ‘deals’ in them aren’t worth much.

Especially the ski lift tickets. The coupons make the tickets more than if you went to the ticket booth at the grocery store. (I guess I can only really say this is true in Colorado) Best bet for skiing is to buy a season pass (about the cost of 5 full price days of skiing).

My friend used to buy them. Whenever we tried to use them, the restaraunts wouldn’t honor them. They had so many blackouts and restrictions I didn’t see the point. I always made sure to carry more money just in case.
