We were lucky enough to be at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on opening day for the new Wave Restaurant. This is the Contemporary’s newest restaurant that replaces the Concourse Steakhouse that is currently being refurbished into the food court for the resort. The video is very short, as we were only allowed in for a limited time.

Thanks for the peek at The Wave. We were at the Contemporary at the same time as you in 2008, didn’t get to eat at The Wave, but we have breakfast reservations for this year’s trip…can’t wait to try it!

Very nice. I want to go to DIsney for my vacation but the COntemporary is so expensive! I’ve never found a room for less than $330 a night. There are cheaper rooms in NY!
But the Contemporary is the ONLY hotel I want to stay in. Can you blame me?
The Wave is right …
The Wave is right next to the check-in desk. Depending on when you were at the resort, the grab-n-go may have been the temporary counter service location while they renovated level four to include a new counter service where the Concourse Steakhouse used to be located.
where abouts is …
where abouts is this restaurant? To be honest i think what they needed was a really good quick counter service place! There are enough fancy restaurants there already and that grab and go place on level 4 was tiny and useless. u had the option of bbq pork or pizza or salad for lunch and dinner! I think it could do with a revamp of that place before adding new places!

i went there too. it was great. if i hadn’t accidently forgot my camera at the california grill i wouldn’t have gone done to the lobby and wouldn’t have even know this place was there.

From what I understand, the restaurant focuses on organic foods. Can’t wait to see it next week.

I can’t believe that use to be the Food & Fun Center and arcade location.
