The cashier told me they don’t accept coupons printed online.
I was giving a coupon from coupons.com.
Met Market accepts all my online coupons all the time… and it’s not even that popular.
No store – anywhere is required to accept coupons. Unless it is their own and issued by them.

Horaayy..there are 4 comment(s) for me so far ;)
They do not accept them because of the high possibility of them being fake. We only have 1 grocery store in our area that takes them, everyone else turns them down. IT is pretty common.

because people can print them online and then make copies of the coupons. It sucks that people take advantage of this, it only makes it harder for decent people like us. I know that walmart will accept the coupons only if they will scan and most of them won’t.

Sure, they can decline coupons if they want to. There are a lot of fake coupons out there and retailers have gotten scammed by them. That’s probably why they won’t take them.
I’ve had trouble with online coupons from other stores, too. I’ve been able to use coupons from the store’s own websites, however.
Try getting your local Sunday newspaper. There’s usually a lot of coupons in them.
