When Dine LA hosts restaurant week, twice a year, you get a three course meal for $25 or $35 depending on the caliber of restauratn and/or time you go (lunch or dinner).

Also try opentable.com – you make reservations at restaurants through the web site, but I know they offer deals, discounts and also have a points system where you earn points by making and keeping your restaurant reservations. The points add up to gift certificates.
